Rite of Passage - September 6, 2010
All little boys complete rites of passage. They range from potty training to tying their own shoes. But this rite of passage is terribly important in the growth of tot to boy to young man. It's time to learn how to ride a bike.
And as Ethan is an avid bicyclist, he is more than excited to get this learning process under way!
We have the gear, we have the will, we are ready to roll!
We used to have a Raley's Supermarket by our house. Unfortunately, they sold out to Albertson's and our location closed down. In its stead there is now a school. But, it still has a nice big parking lot with no one in it on weekends and evenings.
So we grab Dex and his tricycle and head over. Dex is already proficient at tricyling, so the minute we get there, he zooms off.
Ethan gets Asher set to go. Asher get his balance, puts his feet on the pedals, and off he goes!
It takes a few tries for Asher to get the hang of it. But when he does...
There's no stopping him!
Hugs all around for a job well done!
