Carrying On the Tradition - July 17, 2009

I hate to admit it, but I have forgotten a lot of Asher's babyhood. Thank goodness for the Letters To Asher archive, or I would barely even remember that at one time Asher was a baby. I hear I am not alone in this condition - many mothers often don't recall all aspects of each child's babyhood. I, personally, blame lack of sleep.

Even so, one day Dex brought to mind a moment of when Asher was his age by doing the exact same thing as big brother. Perhaps it's genetic, perhaps all babies do it. Whatever the case, it's nice to know somethings have staying power....

Toy fads come and go, but the dishwasher will always be a favorite. There's just nothing like playing it in.

Clean or dirty, Dexter is always up for a little "dishwasher time." And though he tries to be as pleasant as possible, sometimes he's slightly smug about it.
