It's Been a Year Already? - October 4, 2009

Nothing marks the quick passage of time like having a child. Having a child turning one year old is just another example of how while the days may be slow, the years are definitely fast. So, to honor Dex's first complete orbit around the sun, we decided it was birthday party time.

Note: Dexter's official birthday is October 1st, but as that was a Thursday, we decided to push the celebration off to Sunday so more people could participate.

The table is set, the guests have arrived and we are ready to par-tay! Whoop! Whoop!

Because Dexter cannot yet verbalize what kind of cake he would like for his birthday, I got to choose. I decided on a Mochaccino Dream Cake I stumbled upon at the Woman's Day website. I think I got a good likeness to the picture!
