Old MacDonald Had a Farm - September 15, 2009

This year at the State Fair they had a interactive "farm" for children to gather produce, milk cows, ride on tractors, and lasso steers sponsored by none other than (wait for it....) MacDonald's Fast Food.

Asher, ever eager, immediately joined in on the fun. The first "crops" he had to gather in his little basket were apples and pecans. The pecans were real, the apples were plastic.

 

On the way to the next activity, we spotted the perfect, Dexter-sized tractor. We had to stop and give it a try. I dunno... maybe celebrity chef isn't in Dex's future. He looks mighty comfortable up there on that tractor!

 

Next it was Asher's turn to play on a full-sized tractor.

But that didn't last long, because there were smaller, riding tractors to try!
After tractors - time to gather the eggs and milk the cow... (both of which were plastic)
