Aunt Kyra Comes to Visit - January 4, 2009

Not long after Asher took to the scene in 2006, Aunt Kyra and Uncle Matt ended up moving to North Carolina. We haven't been able to see much of them since (though Uncle Matt came out for Shima's 90th birthday) so it was quite a treat when Aunt Kyra came out for a visit!

Of course, Asher instantly waylaid her into reading to him. Having two boys of her own (ages 4 and 7 months at the time), Auntie Kyra didn't mind at all. Shima also got in on the action.

We all came and hung out at our house for an afternoon just to catch up and see what was new in North Carolina and New Mexico.

 

Dexter wasn't quite up to an entire afternoon affair and had to take a quick snooze to recharge. Luckily he found a quiet and comfortable spot!
