Shima's milestone,

Your Shima reached a true milestone this year. She celebrated her 90th birthday! So many things have happened in her lifetime, it's hard to comprehend them all. She's seen the advent of the automobile, she lived through the Great Depression and World War II, she participated in the Baby Boom after the war (having three of her own), she saw the beginning and end of the Cold War, and is currently trying to master the wonder that is the Internet. And this is just an abbreviated list! So much more has happened in those 90 years.

We thought it was pretty important to mark such a momenteous occassion. Not many people make it to their 90th birthday. So, we planned a big party for her. People came from all over to help Shima celebrate.
