Piano Man
Dear Asher,
Chopin. Beethoven. Rachmaninov. And now, Asher.
You have "discovered" the piano. "Discovered" in the sense that we have unblocked that area of the living room so you can actually get to the piano now. You love to climb up on the bench and compose works of great sensitivity and brilliance. And sing. You sing while you compose. Your Mimi would be so proud of your singing ability. I think you must have inheirited it from her.
So far you favor the "one-finger" method of playing. I'm sure as you progress along your musical path, you will find that two, or sometimes even three, fingers can really add depth to your compositions. | |
It's great fun to watch you explore the sounds you can make on the piano. You are always willing to regale me with a personal concert. |
Here's to a future filled with music!
Love,
Mom
