Roughin' It - Part 1

Mountain Boy!

Against my better judgment (and really all that I hold dear - electricity, running water, refrigeration) Dad and I took you camping!  When went with our Life Builders' Sunday School group up to Quemado Lake.

In anticipation of this adventure, we bought a new tent and inflatable mattress.  Dad dubbed our tent Cair Paravel (after the castle in the Narnia series).
I must say that you absolutely loved camping.  Really, what's not to love?  You don't have to worry about using the bathroom, you get to be outside all day, and there's so much to see and do!  And of course, you were surrounded by adults and older kids who just loved playing with you! Here you are playing with Ryan.
And we absolutely cannot overlook the constant fascination with the water pump.  We examined its workings daily!
Our next adventure takes us to a hike around the lake!
