Roughin' It - Part 2

Intrepid Scout!

For our second day out camping (or as I like to put it - denying oneself of essentials for character building purposes) we went for a hike around the lake. 

We started the hike out strong.  You only needed a little assistance from me and Mr. Melgaard.
But we hadn't gone far before you determined that the best view of the hike would be from Dad's shoulders.
And it wouldn't be a visit to the lake if we didn't get some first hand experience of the lake.
The whole adventure was quite exhausting, for you fell asleep in my arms about half way around the lake and slept the entire way back!  Kind of like when we went hiking with Grandma!
