Easter Egg Hunt – April 4 , 2012

It's that time again! What better way to celebrate the ressurection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ than to hunt for brightly colored plastic eggs filled with surgary treats and cheap plastic toys? Wait a minute... I intuitively understand Easter Egg hunts because I was raised in United States and we are all about things that don't make sense. But when put down in black and white, that's a bit bizarre. Nonetheless! We press on!

We join our homeschooling co-op at a lovely park, partake of some lunch, and then the hunt is on! The Dashing Dex has already scored quite a few eggs.

Not to be outdone, Team Asher is on the prowl and grabbing up the oval, plastic treasure boxes as fast as he can.

But Easter isn't about competition. It's about love. It's about sacrifice. Unfortunately, egg hunts - even of the Easter variety - tend to get a little heated. Because let's be honest here, there's candy involved. We were lucky because this particular egg hunt had more than enough to go around. Lots of eggs found by all parties.
