North Carolina Cousin - July 22, 2010

Aunt Kyra and Ryan have come to visit. Excitement and anticipation rule the day! We decided to spend some time together at the zoo - where little boys are free to run and play and just be.... little boys.

Asher and Ryan goof off while waiting for the rest of the party to show up.

 

And of course the wolf sculpture needs to scaled. Sometimes I think they have more fun waiting to go into the zoo then actually being in the zoo!

 

 

Aunt Kyra helps Asher take a look through the viewfinder at the duck pond.

 

 

The ducks capture the boys' attention for quite awhile. In the end all I can think is, "if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck..."

We see it all at zoo. From apes to koalas to zebras (Dex's favorite). Here Ryan is sharing some interesting elephant lore to Asher as they look out at the big beasts.

The boys play hide-n-seek all through the African exhibit. Ryan attempts to get a drop on all the adults who are wandering far too slowly along.

 

Asher is more than willing to ham it up for the camera.
