Dex Finds More Ways - February 10, 2010
Well, once Dex figured out the chair trick worked pretty good, he decided to expand on ways to use it. This time he's not after playing with stuff in the kitchen drawers. Oh no. This time, he's set his sights much higher.
Dex begins his latest caper by moving the chair into the position and then climbing up.
He casually stands there, as if moving chairs and standing on them were just part of his everyday life and there is absolutely no need for mom to come over to investigate or intervene. No need at all, Mom.
Then when he thinks all watchful eyes are distracted, Dex reaches for... the cookie jar!
Caught! But when confronted, Dex whips out the ol' "playing dumb" routine.
When that doesn't work, he whips out the ol' "I-was-doing-something-else" ploy. See mom, I was just checking your plant to see if it needed to be watered. That was all.
See, it is a tad dry, he informs me. And thus, he narrowly escapes getting busted for more nefarious deeds.
