Geocaching the Day Away - December 31, 2009

For Christmas this year, Ethan received a GPS device for his car. Immediately he perceived another use for the device than just getting directions from here to there. He was going to take up geocaching. And it just so happens that a geocache was located not far from our house in the foothills. Time for a hike guys!

It was another beautiful day and the boys took advantage of the nice weather by running up and down the trails.

 

Turns out the walk was a little longer than expected, so Dexter got a ride on Dad's shoulders.

In the end, the geocache proved too far away and too elusive for us. But, it was still a delightful way to spend the last day of 2009.
