Share and Share Alike - September 6, 2009

Lessons in sharing are often painful for little kids. Even as we grow older, it's still something we need to learn, and re-learn. Being unselfish and sharing what we have are important attitudes I want to instill in the Brothers Dixon. So when Asher does share (unprodded by mom or dad), I think it's something that should be noted and commended!

So it came about that when I wandered into the kitchen one morning, I found Asher eagerly sharing his yogurt with Dexter - who has gotten adept at "begging" at the table.

Now whether Asher was sharing out of pure alturism and the value of being generous with others, or whether he thought that it was great fun to smear yogurt all over his brother's face is a question for the philosophers.
