I think it's important for parents to maintain hobbies and interests that they had before the kiddos came along. Keeps you sane.

And who knows how a parent's interests might influence a child. In this case, Dad enjoys playing the guitar. And since Asher is already a mini version of Ethan in almost every way, it logically follows he might take up an interest in music as well.

Granted, Asher's guitar isn't quite as nice as Dad's guitar. But if you play with enough heart and soul... it still sounds kinda bad.

But not to worry. If you've got the attitude and the coolness factor down, actual musical talent doesn't really matter when you're a Rock Star.
