Every year Dad's work has a national sales meeting where all the account managers have to get together to talk about sales, accounts, products, and other things along those boring lines.
| You hated to see Dad go, but you decided to make the best of the situation and help him pack. You needed to get a closer look in the suitcase to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything. |

| Even then, you weren't absolutely sure he had everything he needed, so you went for a more thorough examination. |

| Then you tried to convince him to take you with him. After all, there was plenty of room in there for you too. |  |
| But Dad said you had to stay home and keep me company until he got back. Who knows, maybe next year all of us will get to go! | |
